I had my Annual Physical Exam last Monday and I have spent an Hour and 30 minutes to finish everything. Wow! It was fast! It could have been faster if I didn’t wait for the doctors who conducted the physical exams. But at least now, all I have to worry about are my deliverables.
Well, it’s just like any other APEs but not like the previous year, this year’s APE included dental checkup. And I was so relieved when the dentist said that I only have a tooth to extract, which is like the tooth that caused me a lot of pain when I was in grade school, other than that, everything is just fine.

As a health insurance benefit of the company, we don’t just get APEs, we also get to enroll our family members as dependents which means that we no longer need to personally get a family health insurance for our loved ones.  If you watch the news, especially in the States, health insurance is very crucial to get the proper health care that you need especially when someone gets ill.    I know, everyone would agree that Health Insurance Plans doesn’t come cheap.   Which is why, I don’t really mind paying part of my health plan or if my plan is a part of a group health insurance plan, for I do get to save a lot compared to getting an individual health insurance plan for my dependents.  Like, what’s the use of getting another plan when my dependents and I are enjoying almost the same benefits.  Sad thing though not all companies in the Philippines can afford giving out Health insurance benefits to it’s employees.  However, people from companies like these need not to worry for pre-need companies do provide different health insurance qoutes for individuals with different needs.  I understand that affordable health insurance are pretty hard to come by these days, but one just have to keep in mind that having a health insurance is equivalent to getting some peace of mind.  This is the reason why when someone would ask me for an advice if they should go work for another company, I always tell my colleagues to check out the benefits of that other company and try to compare it with the benefits from our company.  For other companies may give good compensation but have benefits that truly sucks.

ANNOYED to the highest level! Why is it that GOD (pardon me lord for mentioning your name) made people who loves getting under other people’s skin. By God, because of this person, I have said what I was not suppose to say. ARSH!!! If someone from higher management was there I am so dead! As in! Now, I can really say that I hate this person. Imagine because of him, if someone was there, I could be terminated. My GOD, why does he always want to annoy me in front of everybody. As if he is a friend of mine. He is not even someone that I would ever consider as a friend. He is so annoying!!! If we could just kick anyone’s ass anytime that we want to, I would have kicked his ass millions of times. GRRRRR!!!

I just hope he'll get one of these Tonneau Covers so that his bedliner will be dry and clean whenever his team needs a ride. hehehehe...

Have you had a RealTruck review recently?  Everytime my friend who owns a pickup truck invites me or (when I invite myself) to take a ride on his truck, I always do a realtruck review.  So far, I have seen a truck bedliner, vent visors for all the four windows of his truck, a running board, nerf bars, seat covers (sometimes), an almost busted tail light (because he had bump his truck a couple of times in different ways) and a side mirror that fell off one time when he was going out of their garage.  Oh, and not to mention a bumper with scratches here and there.  Poor truck eh?  Anyway, the good news is, he had sent the car for repairs but it has been several weeks and the car is still in the autoshop.  Hehehe, I guess it was worse than it looked.

I was reading an article that I wrote last January and realized that I need to edit it due to the words that I wrote.  Let’s just say, there were errors with my grammar in that article.  Now, the last statement in that article said that I am relieved that I am a girl.  Well, I still am but it reminded me of the question I asked my male friend.  Well, you know how it is, when it comes to matters of how a girl looks, it is best to ask a guy friend.  The question was “do I look like a tomboy?”.  There are reasons why I asked this question:

1.) I still don’t have a boyfriend despite of the fact that there are hundreds of guys at work

2.) I never got an invitation to go out on a date (like never)

3.) I ran out of reasons why the first two reasons above existed.

So I asked him this question during one of our conversations and he said “yes you do” in a “duh, isn’t it obvious” kind of way.  Gosh, not that I am not used to him being frank and honest but you know at times, as a girl, you tend to be a bit sensitive with these kind of things.  You know so you would appreciate it if he could have sugar coated his reply a bit.  But then again, this friend of mine is the most honest person that I know, if not then he is the most insensitive person that you would find in the world.  I mean, he even said that it is not ethical to tell a girl that she is fat even if it is true but he would call me fat.  You know what I mean.  So there, I guess, I really do look like a tomboy.  So what do you call a girl who looks like a tomboy but digs hot men? Hahaha…

Wow, time flies so fast.  Imagine, my blog is turning two years this May!  Whoohooo, happy anniversary Days Under the Sun!  Wow, I never imagined I have it in me.  Hehehe…  Since this is about my blog, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who continually visit my site, despite of the fact that I seldom visit other sites.  You are all welcome to drop by anytime that you feel like it and feel free to read through my articles as well, put a comment and talk about it amongst yourselves, hehehe… just don’t twist the truth that I placed here.  If you feel you got hit by the words that you’ve read, then that means you have to start to assess yourself.  Hehehe…

I have been listening to this Korean song that I got from my brother since February 2010 but I didn’t have the slightest idea about who sung it and its title.  I know it sounds lame but I did try to look for it on the web but since it’s in Korean, I was not able to find it.  Now, you all know that Super Junior came to Manila last week and it was only last April 4, when I was watching ASAP that I found out that they were the one’s who sung the song and more importantly, I now know the title of the song. 

And so like anything that I am curious about, I went out to the web and to look for articles that I can read about them when I stumbled upon a site that has the biography of the members of Super Junior.  Well, this is very common but what wasn’t was the line that the owner placed there.  Whoever owns the site said that he/she doesn’t care if he/she will get credit to the work that was done (thus, I am not putting the name of the site) or not but he/she is not permitting anyone to copy or get the information that he/she has on that site.  I was like, why then are you putting it online?  I guess this person does not realize that if you place it on the web, there is a possibility that people will copy them.  Not that I am not against it, but one shouldn’t stress oneself because of it.  Because the concept on the web is like the lives of the celebrities.  Once you are a celebrity, your life becomes public property. See, no matter how they try to keep things to themselves, people will always want to know and tell people about it.  It is not ethical, but this is the reality.  On the web, if we put it there, even our thoughts becomes public property.  People will read through it, comment on it and sometimes, take it as their own.  Not ethical but this is the reality.

Anyway, going back to the mysterious song that I have listened to for 2 months without knowing the title and who sang it, here’s a video of It’s You.  Again, I don’t understand or speak the Korean Language so don’t ask me what it means.  But you can definitely tell me what it is about.  My hunch is, this song is about love (it must be, otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a hit), a heart break perhaps?

A friend and I were had one of those elevator talks last week after we had lunch.  He said that “Earth has survived without any intervention from any man, so man is not powerful enough to destroy it. ” What he meant was, Earth has become as it is or should I say as it was, beautiful and perfect to live in without any help from man, man can never destroy it.   We are not powerful enough to do that.  Well, I guess, at some point this is true.  Because if we did destroy it, it will never be totally destroyed, for looking at what happened in the past, it feels like Mother Eart has a way to reboot itself and fix what it feels like it needs fixing.  But, the bad thing though is, there is no assurance if Man can survive the process.  So I guess this is what scares us.  It’s not really that Mother Earth will be destroyed, it is the survival of mankind that scares all of us.  This is just a thought though, I don’t have any scientific proof to prove this point and so does my friend.

It was over a month since I sat infront of my laptop and went online.  And I realized I have missed doing a lot of things.  Well, who would want to sit in front of a computer when you already spent 12 hours of your day in front of a PC?  So when I get home, all I could do is sleep.  On weekends, I would rather go out of the house and spend sometime in the mall or go have dinner somewhere with some friends so that I could forget about work for a few hours. Have you ever had a time when you go to sleep all you could think about is work and when you wake up, the first thing that comes to mind is work?  Well, it’s been like that for sometime now that I would rather go out and spend my time away from my pc. 

But then, I realized, blogging is something that I could never do without.  And video streaming is a favorite pastime that I just couldn’t live without.  And so, here I am again.  In front of my computer, writing my thoughts down.  And honestly, I never felt this kind of calm feeling for a while now.
