Wow, time flies so fast.  Imagine, my blog is turning two years this May!  Whoohooo, happy anniversary Days Under the Sun!  Wow, I never imagined I have it in me.  Hehehe…  Since this is about my blog, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who continually visit my site, despite of the fact that I seldom visit other sites.  You are all welcome to drop by anytime that you feel like it and feel free to read through my articles as well, put a comment and talk about it amongst yourselves, hehehe… just don’t twist the truth that I placed here.  If you feel you got hit by the words that you’ve read, then that means you have to start to assess yourself.  Hehehe…

I have been listening to this Korean song that I got from my brother since February 2010 but I didn’t have the slightest idea about who sung it and its title.  I know it sounds lame but I did try to look for it on the web but since it’s in Korean, I was not able to find it.  Now, you all know that Super Junior came to Manila last week and it was only last April 4, when I was watching ASAP that I found out that they were the one’s who sung the song and more importantly, I now know the title of the song. 

And so like anything that I am curious about, I went out to the web and to look for articles that I can read about them when I stumbled upon a site that has the biography of the members of Super Junior.  Well, this is very common but what wasn’t was the line that the owner placed there.  Whoever owns the site said that he/she doesn’t care if he/she will get credit to the work that was done (thus, I am not putting the name of the site) or not but he/she is not permitting anyone to copy or get the information that he/she has on that site.  I was like, why then are you putting it online?  I guess this person does not realize that if you place it on the web, there is a possibility that people will copy them.  Not that I am not against it, but one shouldn’t stress oneself because of it.  Because the concept on the web is like the lives of the celebrities.  Once you are a celebrity, your life becomes public property. See, no matter how they try to keep things to themselves, people will always want to know and tell people about it.  It is not ethical, but this is the reality.  On the web, if we put it there, even our thoughts becomes public property.  People will read through it, comment on it and sometimes, take it as their own.  Not ethical but this is the reality.

Anyway, going back to the mysterious song that I have listened to for 2 months without knowing the title and who sang it, here’s a video of It’s You.  Again, I don’t understand or speak the Korean Language so don’t ask me what it means.  But you can definitely tell me what it is about.  My hunch is, this song is about love (it must be, otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a hit), a heart break perhaps?

I went out with Weng last Saturday.  We had lunch at Sbarro.  She had baked zitti, a big serving of raspberry iced tea and a plate of fruit salad.  I had a slice of Grandma Sbarro pizza, which despite of the absence of meat, tasted really good.  Why shouldn’t be, when it had 2 of my favorite ingredients, cheese and tomatoes.  Hehehe…  But lunch was just secondary, the real reason why we met up was she wanted to give me some dried herbs that was sent to her by a friend.  Now, I have 3 additional ingredients in my pantry.  Hehehe… Thanks Weng!

I first heard this song in Criminal Minds.  It was one of the sadest episode of the series and this song summed up the emotion of Prentiss in the Demonology episode of Criminal Minds.  This song was written and sang by Hodges.  This is one of the good songs that I’ve heard but I don’t recommend listening to it when you’re depressed though…

I had a prayer once and I said to the Lord, that if I will see him, that means we were meant to be if not, then that means I will have to let him go and move on with my life.  Last week, my prayers has been answered.  I saw him walk passed me and I was just there staring at him.  I had the feeling that he would be there but I never expected to see him.  For I have given up on the hope of ever seeing him.  But finally seeing him after all this time, I am left wondering if seeing him was truly a sign that we are meant to be or was it a game that fate had once again played on me?  Was it my only opportunity to meet him and fate’s role was to just put us in one place and I was supposed to do or say something to him?  I guess this is what I often hear some people say, it is better to regret for doing something rather that regret for not doing anything.  And so yes, I guess I am regretting the fact that I didn’t do anything.  I just looked at him as he stopped in front of my very eyes and watch him leave.  *sigh*  

Now my question is, should I  continue waiting for him?  If I do, how long should I wait again?

Full House.  I am not sure if you remember this Korean TV series but I sure love it.  It is a romantic love story about an ordinary girl (Jessie Han) who lost everything she had including the house that her parents left her and the Korean Superstar (Justin Lee) who bought the house.  I like it because it tackle things that we normally experience in our daily life (except the meeting and living with a rich and famous stranger part I guess) and put the lesson in a funny and yet truthful way.  I have seen a lot of romantic movies and tv series in my life (I ain’t that old, but believe me when I say a lot, it means a lot) and this is one of the few that I will recommend that you watch.

Look at the time!  I didn’t notice that I was already infront of the computer for more than 4 hours.  And to think I need to meet up with my instructor for my swimming lessons.  Sheesh!  I really need to work on my discipline when it comes to my appointments.  Damn.  I really need to change this thinking that people can always wait for me.  Gotta run and prepare my stuff.  Sheeshh.. I need some warm drink!

Well, it seems my brother have decided to go somewhere else.  I guess I will have to eat the garlic bread later for it is now time for me to get some sleep.  I really wonder why I went on leave yesterday when I didn’t have anywhere to go.  I could have gone on leave today instead for I will be on RD tomorrow.  Tsk, that was one wasted leave credit.  But I was glad I went to the office earlier for I saw my crush from the other account in the pantry.  Hehehe… Could it be that we are fated for each other?  For we would usually see each other on unexpected circumstances (I would usually see him when least expected).   One time I was with some friends and when I looked up he was passing by our table and looked down at me as I looked up, another time I saw him on the eleventh floor while the elevator door was closing and he looked and stared at me and then the pantry.  You know it’s weird.  We would usually end up looking at each other.  I mean people can be at the same place and time but it’s not always that these two people will get to look at the other at the same time right?  Hmmm…  Could he be my honorable fire fighter who seem to pop up from nowhere?  I mean that’s how soul mates are right?  They tend to feel the presence of the other.   Hahaha… Fantasies.  But I wouldn’t mind.  He’s cute anyway.

I didn’t realize that Beauty Queens can be fired not until Donald Trump and the Miss California USA Organization fired the reigning Miss California Carrie Prejean.  Sheesh!  OMG Yahoo said she got fired because she was unwilling to fulfill her contract.  Talk about serious business.  From what I know most beauty queens get fired because of controversy, this is the first time that I’ve heard of someone being fired because of not fulfilling her responsibilities.  Like how hard is it to do your job right?  Tsk, tsk, tsk.
