Car Accessories

   Posted by: michy   in General

My friend pointed out a car that he wanted to buy when we were on our way to Mcdonald’s for lunch last week. I told him that it might not be a good idea since I heard that the accessories for the said brand are hard to find. He said “really?”. I told him that I am not sure though and told him to check the autoshops to make sure. Well, he’s not really into supping up cars, but I realized that like most men, he likes cars. However, checking the availability of the accessories and body parts of a car is not just for suppin up cars, it is one of the considerations to consider if you wanna purchase a car.

Aha! I think that’s the reason why his pickup truck is still in the repair shop. I remember that whenever we have a problem with the SUV that we used to use in the research project on S. japonicum, a parasite fund in the rice fields, a few years back it would take a while for it to be fixed. We would normally wait for the weekend before we take it to the shop. I remember telling our driver that I like to have an SUV like the one that we are using. I remember that he told me if I would consider buying an SUV, I should consider getting an SUV from another car manufacturer for the spare parts for that particular brand is really hard to find. I guess that’s the reason why we would usually wait for weeks before something can get replaced. Which makes me wonder if this is the same for most manufacturers. But I think this is not true for Ford accessories because, if I am not mistaken, Kris Aquino got a Ford car a few years back and she said that Ford has a manufacturing plant in Laguna.  Now, knowing that the company who built your car is within reach would be such a relief wouldn’t it for if you will have a problem, then it would be easy to have it fixed right?
