We had our company outing yesterday. A friend convinced me to go for it would change my life. Well, it was a joke, I know that but sometimes, you can’t just hope that something or someone will fall from that the skies and will change your life for the better. No life changing event happened yesterday though but I was able to forget my problems for a couple of hours though. So I guess I should be thankful right? But I just wonder, if I went for my plan instead, would things to be more different?

It’s on us
One of my favorite shake stands is Fruit Magic. I would usually buy a fruit shake there everytime I feel like going healthy. I love their green mango shake which you can buy for 50 pesos. They have several booths in Cebu but my favorite is the one in Ayala. The first time I went there, my attention was caught by a sign on their receipt printer that says “If we don’t give you a receipt, your purchase is on us”. I really find this amusing. I just hope that all establishment would do just that including ATMs hehehe.
Crow feet
They said the wrinkles may it be around the eyes or on your laugh line are indicators of aging. This is the reason why most women go into panic mode when they see wrinkles especially when it is around the eyes. This is because, most results from studies and surveys came out saying that 99% of wrinkle creams does not work on wrinkles around the eyes. So most people would go through eye cream reviews to know which is effective for their concerns. The downside is some of these reviews are not real so one really has to take extra precaution for aside from the fact that the skin around the eyes are sensitive, creams may be to harsh that it may damage our eyes itself.
Just a little credit
I was really hoping to get a leave tomorrow but my supervisor said no. Although she didn’t say it directly, I just felt bad for I seldom asks for something and yet I got turned down because some of the folks are going into training. Times like these, I do feel bad for it’s like am I the only one who has to give way to everyone else? Well, yeah, I guess am complaining right now. I know how the business works but can’t I at least be able to get something that I want every now and then. Yes I was able to get a leave last Saturday and it was like instant only because nobody else is having a leave that day. You know it would really make a difference to placed on priority sometimes. You know get a leave not because noone’s applying for it or get a project not because everyone else is busy. I mean yes maybe my team isn’t as performing as everyone elses but that doesn’t mean my team is not doing what they can to achieve their goals and that also doesn’t mean that I am not doing my job. I don’t have to say what I do to have these guys pass their metrics legally for that’s my job, but then just a little credit though. All I ask is a little credit to what we do as a team and a little credit to what I do. That’s it.
My bro and I went to Ayala last week and what did we see? A sale on my current favorite shoe brand! Too bad I can’t buy a new pair of shoes although I feel that I badly need a new pair for I am still out budget. :-( Imagine getting a 50% discount on your favorite shoe brand that normally sells at 3000 pesos per pair! Hay… It’s really a good deal that I can never take. I just hope that when the time comes when I am financially free, there will be deals like these for me.
Wolverine
I will be watching Wolverine later with my big brothers. Whoopee! I just hope my other brother will be able to go with us for it’s already 10AM and he hasn’t arrived from work yet. Tsk! We are planning to watch the movie and then eat out. I am planning to take them to that place in Labangon for them to try out the chicken barbeque that the “Principle” made me try. I feel bad though for not pushing through with the invites of my other friends to watch the movie with them but then again it’s rare that me and my bros have time to get together so I will have the say no to some of my friends for now. Sorry guys!
No strawberries :-(
My brother went home in April and I asked him to bring some shrimp paste from Samar that is like 20 pesos per glass when he comes back a week later. But came back empty handed.
Last week my friends left for Baguio and did not bring any strawberries for me when they came back
:-(. But Wena gave me a cellular phone accessory from Singapore. :-) Thanks Weng!
