Sigh*_*

   Posted by: michy   in General

Been at home for more than  days now and after the news on our QOS I am more unhappy now that I was a few days back.  My stats are all red right.  Hay… good thing I asked my friend to send me the QOS file.  At least I have an idea of what’s going on and I have sent an email to my team now.  I just hope it’s not too late to fix things.

Still in a battle

   Posted by: michy   in General

Friday, February 13th.  Am still stucked at home battling against the itchiness caused by the blister like spots of chicken pox.  Whew.  I always thought this is one battle that can easily be won.  But heck no!  Aside from the itch, you have to remind yourself time and time again that the blisters on your face are caused by chicken pox.  Nothing serious and it will eventually go away.  Hay… I may sound like am way above my head but getting this disease and having a lot of the spots on your face at 28, heck, you will worry.  I know too much vanity.  But I didn’t realize I’m that vain until now.  And I didn’t appreciate my skin before I had chicken pox until this week.  I even cried when I saw myself in the mirror last Wednesday.  I swear.  But it was a humbling experience though.

New York Times on Zenni

   Posted by: michy   in General

zenni-optical-glasses Zenni Optical was in New York Times?!  Wow!  They mentioned Zenni Optical in an article entitled Seeing Straight Without Breaking Bank.  It turned out that the concerns on the health policies that companies offers to their employees in the US is similar to the health insurance in the Philippines.  They do not cover vision or eye problems.  Wow!  Tsk, tsk, tsk.  Anyway, the article was about getting solutions for your vision issues and some tips on how to save money like where to get prescription eyeglasses for only $8.  Well, it is one of those tough times you know.  The one in the picture is the one that I featured last November.  It happens to be my favorite from Zenni since it’s something that you can wear with just about anything and it is only $8.

It’s chicken pox!

   Posted by: michy   in General

OMG!  It never came into mind that I will get this virus from the office.  I mean, I’ve always thought I had it and I am immuned to it.  It turned out I’m not so that means I never had it!  Sheeshh!  But I guess I caught it because my resistance at that time was low like my boss for I had colds at that time.  Hay… A weeks later here I am.  Sitting in front of my laptop with rashes/blisters all over my face, back, neck, upper chest and abdominal area.  You know chicken pox ain’t as bad as having colds but what I really don’t like about it is the itchiness.  By God!  I think I can know understand why dogs scratch themselves that way!

I like corsets

   Posted by: michy   in General

discount-lingerie I really can’t understand why a lot of people doesn’t like corsets as lingerie anymore.  Personally, I like them for it doesn’t just help you hide your tummy, I think it will also help you keep a proper posture.  A lot of people said may be it’s because of it’s availability, the price or may be the convenience of wearing it.  For availability and pricing, well there is discount lingerie these days that one can take advantage off.  Well, yeah I guess it’s more on the convenience or comfort in wearing one.

Rest, rest, rest

   Posted by: michy   in Rumblings

Today’s my rest day and when I say rest day it means rest day.  My head’s been hurting since yesterday.  I even wonder how I survived my shift yesterday.  Tsk, tsk, tsk.  But the bad thing is, I was not able to do anything yesterday, no coaching no monits.  Bad cheetah! Now, I need to go to the office later.  Hay, I think I should hit the sack again.  I just hope I’d feel better when I wake up.

Technical schools

   Posted by: michy   in General

You know it’s facinating to know that there are technical schools in New York  that offers short term courses that can be expensive if you get a formal education.  Personally, I am interested in Culinary courses and from what I am seeing there are 5 technical schools that I can choose from if I get to live in New York.   Imagine that.  If only am in the states.  And take note, like most schools in the US these technical schools offers financial aids as well.  I just have a question though… What’s the difference between Commercial cooking and Professional cooking?

A watch can say a lot of things

   Posted by: michy   in General

twsteelwatchThis watch is just one of the TW steel watches out there.  But of all their designs available, this is my favorite for it’s similar to the watch that I wear to work.  Yes this is a men’s watch that’s why I like it.  I haven’t thought of it before but I realized that if you like to wear chic clothes and then wear a masculine looking watch, it sends out a message that yes your a girl but you’re a girl who means business.  Violent reactions?  I don’t care, that’s my opinion you make your own.  Bwahahaha…

Human Behavior

   Posted by: michy   in General

It’s really interesting to observe human bevavior.  How people will react to a certain stimulus.  How they overcome certain emotions like fear and sadness.  I guess this is what draws me towards tv shows like Criminal Minds, CSI and the likes.  Not that I am interested in committing a crime but these shows kinda gives you a better understanding why people do things.  Things that if you come to think of it are things that you may think impossible for you to do but because of some events, what other people have said or done to you, you were able to do it.  Bad and good experiences can trigger something in your subconcious mind which can cause you to do things that you would never do in normal situations.  I don’t know if I should be saying this but you know I felt that the things that we do to ourselves and to others are sometimes the result of what others had done to us.  And the reason why people reacts differently to circumstances and events even if it was of the same level with other people is because of how you were treated or loved when you were growing up.  I’m not sure if you will agree with me but a person who has a very loving and caring environment has lesser chances of doing evil towards other people.  Well, there are a lot factors though which can drive a person to do things but I guess if you have that one person there who loves you unconditionally and you know that, you kinda thinks twice before you do something.  I guess that’s what makes some people who believes in God different from those who doesn’t.  Because no matter how hard things are going, how ill other people treat you or even if you are surrounded by criminals, if you are good and believes in something good like God, you will have a strong will and can surpass any challenges that may come to you.  I mean you got to admit that there are times that you just wish you could reap someone’s head off but in the end when your sanity kicks in and you get a better hold of yourself, you don’t do it.  I don’t know I guess what I am trying to say is if we were brought up soundly when we were young, meaning we had enough attention and enough loving from the people who should be giving that to us then there is a higher possibility that we will have a better judgement when it comes to our actions.
