I went to church earlier to attend the last day for the novena of the child Jesus (Sto. Nino) here in Cebu.  It was a solemn mass but human as I am, I get to do a little stunt.  Well, I do commit bloopers every now and then.  You know when you receive the holy communion (the little round white bread given during mass) where the lay minister will say “body of Christ” before he gives it to you and you, the receiver will respond “Amen”?  Ok, so I was there, standing in front of the Lay minister waiting for him to give me the bread.  Everything was so perfect.  The lay minister gave his line and handed me the bread but guess what I said in response.  I said “thank you” instead of “amen”.  It was a bit funny but a bit embarrassing if you will think about it.  Because even a ten year old knows what the response should be.  Hay… Michy!
