Well, one disadvantage about being home is, I don’t have internet access. I will have to go to a cafe just to have access to the internet. I don’t mind using a different computer what I don’t like is the waiting part. On ordinary days, the wating could be lesser. But on days like Christmas Eve, the waiting can go as long as an hour. Kids may not have a job for their games but during Christmas season they can have more money than any of us. Funny but true. And really, days like these, it makes me regret not getting the Visibility pack of Globe or the Prepaid Smart Bro service which I could take anywhere. huhuhu…

Sheesh, yes I am home but I needed to do some work. Geesh… Not that I’m complaining, it’s just that it is a bit difficult to follow up on things when your access to the internet is limited. I mean, I can’t communicate with the folks from the office and my access to my files is limited as well. I downloaded some files that I will work on at home, I just hope that I can access it later. Hay…
We’re a few hours away ’til Christmas but I will have to stay here for a while so that I can chat with some guys from work. I just hope they’re there.
Game Sharing
It is really nice to have versions of Mac games that you can play in a windows based computer. As nice as having Windows based games that you can play in a Mac computer. Just like the New Star Soccer 4, originally a Windows based game; it can now be played in a Mac for there is Mac version of the game now. This game is almost like The Sims where the player needs to balance his work and social life. However, in Star Soccer 4, the game simulates the life of a soccer player. This means that part of the game will be played playing Soccer and the rest will be about living life outside the soccer field. Which can include your training and of course your girl friend, something that sports icons can’t seem to live without.
Aside from sports inspired games, there are other games like adventure games that you can play both in a Mac and a Windows based computer too. Games like Summer Session, a dating simulation that has funny dialogues and captivating plots. The Lux Deluxe, a game of strategy and domination which was inspired by the board game Risk. Another example is Machines at War, a game for those who fancies commanding an army of forces across a battle field. This is a real time strategy game which has destructible terrains that makes it more interesting. But for me the best Mac games would be the games that you can play with a group of friends. Like Counter Strike where one can just set up a came and your friends will connect to a network or the internet for them to play with you. I am not sure though if the manufacturers of the game made a version of it to run on a Mac but I do hope that they did. For it doesn’t really matter how beautiful a game is when you play it, what matters is the opportunity to play the game with your friends. So I wonder if it would be possible to play a game with a friend over a local network or the internet when your friend is using a Mac while you are using a Windows based computer. Hmmm…
Home sweet home…
There really is no place like home. I’ve have gone to a lot of places and met different people but what they say is true. You can never find a place like home. It may not be as beautiful as the hotels and the resorts that I went to and had to do most of the chores on my own but I will never exchange it for anything. For here at home, I don’t have to be anybody for people to like me and I know they do not pretend to be somebody else just for me to like them. They are who they are as I am who I am. Not that I pretend to be somebody else when I am with other people. I just try not to be brutally honest for I have learned a long time ago that there are times that being honest about how you feel is always the best way to go. And that there are times that when people ask you a question, they don’t really want to hear what you really think about the subject. SOmetimes, people just want to hear a confirmation. They want to hear what they wanted to hear and gets hurt when they hear something else.
