Disney vacations could be the ultimate vacation that you can give your family ever! Especially if you go to Disney Land in Orlando. Well, yeah I know that we have Disney Land in Hongkong and Japan and honestly, I have never been to any of the three theme parks but I like the one in Orlando because of other options that you can choose from when you get there. There’s River Ranch (which kinda rings a bell, hmmm was that in a Nancy Drew novel?), where you can do some horseback riding and if you are traveling with your friends, there are establishments where you can party the night away. And it is close to SeaWorld and Universal Studios so what more can I ask for?

Oh PLEASE….
One thing that I really don’t like is waking up because of somebody was screaming, shouting or nagging another person. Like this woman next door who reminds me of our neighbor back when I was a kid who nags her children off their beds. Like my GOD, can’t she just tell her kids to wake up?! Imagine, how the kid felt? I myself felt so abused just listening to her curse early in the morning and I was not the one whom she was talking to. I know life isn’t easy especially if you’re a mom but hey, a little consideration to your kids and to your neighbors duh?! And when will people learn that nagging, shouting and cursing doesn’t really help. You don’t want me to tell you why. Really…
He hung up on me!
My brother and I had an argument about our youngest sibling for she failed one of her subjects and there is a possibility that she won’t be able to re-enroll. And so he wanted her to take another subject and I was a bit furious about how he said it. It’s like he has decided to have our sister study another course. I understand his point of view but it was the way he said it that got into me. I mean we are talking about what she might be doing for the rest of her life and yet, he already decided without even taking into consideration if she wants to study something else. And when I was already telling him that he hung up on me! @!&*(&(#*&*(#&! Arghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Living a frugal life means avoiding any luxuries in life. One of which is avoid riding a taxi or cab going to work. This means I will have to leave my house an hour before my shift so that I won’t be late even if I am just 15 minutes away from work. Why? Because I will have to wait for a jeepney that will pass by my work place. Easy? Of course not! For aside from dealing with occassional perverts and people who seem to avoid taking a bath and enjoy letting people smell their smelly bodies, I will have to make out the signs for the route of the jeepneys. And with a 100/125 error in refraction, it is not an easy task. So I was really excited when Zenni Optical was on Fox news! Imagine a Zenni Optical $8 Rx eyeglasses… 8 freaking dollars will really fit into my budget! I could probably even afford the incredible stylish new frames from Zenni which you will see on their site because their eyeglasses are so cheap! So why was I excited, it’s because they now ship eyeglasses from the US however, I will have to be careful if I place an order so that I will get the right pair for myself.
More bad news…
My mom called me up yesterday and she told me that she went to see a doctor back home and was told that she needs to take certain medications for her lungs. Although, some people doesn’t notice it and she doesn’t complain much, I know deep down there something’s not right. My mom always try to be a strong woman and that’s how our family look at her so when she says she okay, our family believes her. And so I am worried right now, for whenever I asked her to see a doctor she will always say no. But all of a sudden she called me up to tell me that she had an appointment with a doctor. Although, there might not be any reason for me to worry, it might just be some minor illness, I am still worried. I hope I get extra cash soon so that I can go home and see what’s really going on and talk to her in person. Because she likes hiding things when I speak to her on the phone and is good at pretending that everything is okay.
Glasses
I was a bit doubtful when I read articles from my fellow bloggers’ site about some great eyeglasses for less than $10. Especially if you have seen the variable dimension frames from Zenni. I mean if you see them you will really ask yourself if they’re true. But then, Zenni Optical was on Fox news! So it is true! Too bad though cause they’re in the US and I am in the Philippines.
I was supposed to spend some time with some folks from work tonight. We were supposed to go out and spend time together in a different environment and have fun. Unfortunately, I fell asleep and woke up at 1AM. They called me up at 8 PM and I missed it. Sheesh! this is one of the great opportunities to know them better and yet, I missed it. Too bad!
The uncertainty of the future being the only certain thing in this world is the reason why I always try to be a step ahead when a decision to be made will impact my family. Just like when I borrow money from the bank or when I applied for a credit card I ticked on that box that will protect my family from paying my debts in case I suddenly pass away. I think they call it Private mortgage insurance. I do the same when I travel too. I tick the box for a travel insurance although that would mean paying extra, but it is not just for untimely passing but to help me in case something went wrong during the travel like losing my luggage. I also have a plan to get a life insurance. Although my parents does not believe in it, I still want to get one for practical reasons. Because we’ll never know what will happen right? I definitely wouldn’t want the people that I leave behind like my parents to go through the things like losing the home that they lived in to pay for the debts of a member of the family just because the person who’s responsible for it had passed away just like in the movies. And all that was because that person did not have any insurance like a mortgage life insurance to protect them in case something happens.
A bit of a bad news
A friend asked me to accompany her during her lunch break yesterday. I said yes because if she asked me do so, I know that something is bothering her. And I was right. She said that her Paypal account was hacked! Although whoever hacked it was not or did get any money, the hacker had all her website subscription canceled. And so all her webpages were not available for a couple of hours the day before yesterday. I really feel bad on hearing this. For her blogging is not just a way for her to earn extra money this is kinda therapuetic for her. Her mom died a year ago and eversince then writing articles is her outlet to let her loneliness and unhappiness go. Really, how can other people be so selfish and greedy? I know sometimes it’s not all about the money. Sometimes, we just want to let other people know that we are good at something. But why waste our greatness in such things and hurt other people along the way when we can use it to help other people and make the world that we live in a better place?
No. I am not talking about Daniel Radcliffe. I am talking about the guy who looks like Harry Potter at work. When he started out in the company that I work for he had caused quite a buzz for he really looks like Daniel Radcliffe. When I pointed him out to Kriste one time he told me that Mark (aka Harry Potter) was a bit overweight when they were schoolmates. But lost the weight one summer due to the South Beach Diet weight loss plan according to his close friends. I guess it is true for when I see him in the pantry during lunch, he doesn’t eat rice. He only eats non fatty dishes like chicken and some red meat but never pork. Thinking about his diet and mine, although I love to have a smaller frame, I think I will be very unhappy for some time if I follow his diet for I love eating rice. A meal is never complete if I don’t eat rice. The same way as it can never be complete if I don’t have dessert after a sumptous meal.
