The first ever experience that I had with casinos was when the mom of one of my friends asked us to accompany her to a casino here in Cebu. It was the first time that I really had the opportunity to come face to face with a slot machine. But I didn’t play for it was not like the machines that I saw in CSI Las Vegas. You know, those machines that you pull a lever or something and you insert a coin to play. The machines in that casino uses a card for you to use it. It’s like the machines in Time Zone where you insert a card to play the games. But anyhow, cards are still good for it will be more convenient to the company and the players. At least you don’t have to carry those chips around. Thanks to technology. Oh, and talk about convenience, Online Casinos will truly be one of the benefits of technology. For one, you don’t have to leave the comforts of your home just to play your favorite games. You can play anytime you want without worrying about what you’re wearing and nobody will be talking about you behind your back about you being a patron of casinos.
I had dinner with a group of friends yesterday at Mooon Cafe. It was my first time there and I tried their Mexican Baby Back Ribs. It was okay. For me it was better than the Baby Back Ribs in Casa Verde. However, I noticed that they had stopped serving the iced tea when we were done eating. And it was a bottomless iced tea kinda thing. Hmp!

I can never understand at first why the producers of Casino Royale decided to take Daniel Craig to play the new James Bond. I mean for starters, he is too rugged looking, not as good looking as Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery and not as refined too. Yes, I am not a Daniel Craig fan and yes I did not watch Casino Royale in the movies as a protest. Hehehe… But then when I was browsing the web, I run into an article about the Casino Royale novel that Ian Flemming wrote. It turned out, Casino Royale is the first James Bond novel that Ian Flemming wrote for the James Bond series. This is where everything started. This is where 007 earned his license to kill and the first time he started using the name James Bond. Now, I understand why they got someone who is not as refined as the previous James Bond stars. For, he was just a newbie in this movie and they needed someone who is not as sophisticated as those who preceded him.
You may have noticed, I’ve been talking about John Maxwell a lot recently. It’s because am reading some of his works for a while now and most of his views are quite a revelation to me. One of the things that he pointed out is increasing one’s Leadership ability to increase one’s effectiveness towards succes. And so, what is LEADERSHIP? From the books that he has written, LEADERSHIP to him is nothing more than the ability to influence people. Easy right? But how the heck will I become a good leader when influencing people is one of my weakest point?
