Nosferatu
I saw the 1922 version of Nosferatu and yes it is a silent film adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, meaning all you will hear is a song playing over and over again and read the dialogue. Yup, the dialogue will be flashed on the screen and you will have to read them. I know it may seem that I am so desperate and such a movie addict that I even spent 80 minutes of my time to watch an old movie. But what can I do, Time ranked it as one of the Top 25 scariest movie ever. Well, yeah, it could be if they had the audio technology that we have these days, I would agree to that. But since, all you hear is the theme song playing over and over again and kinda guess what the characters are supposed to be saying to one another, the horror kinda fades between scenes. hahaha… But I got to commend the make up and the costume of Count Orlok aka Dracula though. It was a bit scary. But what really scared me was the costume and the hairdo of Nina. Sheesh, good thing we are no longer wearing that kind of look today.
