Saturday!!! I will be going on a trip today with team Payatas. I am so looking forward to this trip. It’s been awhile since I went out of town. After all that happened in the past two months, this trip is definitely a great getaway from it all. I know there will be tasks to do when I get back but for now, I will savor the thought of getting away from everything. Woots!!!

Remember, I told you that I went on an interview with an OM from another account last month? Well, last Wednesday, I finally got a word about the result of my interview. The SOM of the original account that I was with told me that I passed that interview and that they were supposed to get me as one of their team leaders. But then, I am already with my new account so they can no longer have me. Whew!!! I am not really sure if my SOM said that just to put me at ease or to end my suffering, but I sure am happy to know that I did pass that interview and they considered me to be part of that new account. Truth is, I was really scared that my skill in answering questions had faltered and that if I will go on any interview, I will surely fail.  I was also afraid that my achievements and the skill that I have developed over the years will fall short to their expectations.  In short, I was very insecure of myself.

The news actually made me happy and it did help me get a little of my self-esteem back.  I have been through a lot of challenges over the couple of months and it made me really feel insecure of myself.  At least, with this feedback, I have something to help me get through any challenges ahead with more confidence in myself.

I swear, I am happy to hear that I did pass the interview although I wasn’t really 100% sure that I would accept the offer if it was given to me. I don’t have anything against the people there, the truth is, I am looking forward in working with the OM there for I have heard great things about him and from our conversation, he does seem very smart. A no nonsense guy, which made me realize why he got his position. It’s the account that I don’t like. It doesn’t interest me. Mainly because I didn’t have any background on it and it never intrigued me even when I was still in school.  It is challenging but it doesn’t interest me as of the moment.

After 3 days of waiting, my agents are finally able to take calls today. It was tiring and a bit stressful for I didn’t know what to do for them and every time they ask me a question, I find myself asking a tenured agent or our trainer before I answer the agents. Talk about being helpless!

Although, I wasn’t able to do any admin tasks today since I had to be visible to my team on their first day of taking calls, I was able to handle a call towards the end of the shift. It was nerve wrecking! It felt like ages since I last handled a call. Damn! I was so nervous and my body turned cold. But I had to be confident and brave for some of my agents were listening while I take the call. Hays!!! Talk about pressure. Whoahhh!!! Good thing I was able to activate the service and everything went well. Whew! I will be taking calls again tonight for an hour while my team is not around. Hope everything will go as planned.

Here are the pics from Kaulangan, Asturias.  Gosh, didn’t know that it was really hard to get to the site.  The main income of the families here come from farming and the area is in a remote area so the kids here really need help from other people.  So I am really thankful to our donors.  Hope they won’t get tired of helping us.

Time passed so fast.  It’s August 1st, it’s official, I am now part of a cable account!!! My team is going live tonight!!!  After 4 weeks in training, I am back to where the real action is.   I did regret saying I am open to move in the last 2 weeks but I knew there is no turning back.  I will have to face the consequences of my decision and do good while am at it. 

I pray that the lord will give me strength for it will be a difficult journey for me for I need to learn the process quickly or my team will be left behind.  Sheessh…  That wouldn’t be fair now would it?  Wonder if I will be able to pull it off…

Woke up early so I had the time to play some songs.  I don’t know why but Mariah’s songs are so timeless.  I can listen to her songs a year later and it would still sound recent.  I also get the same feelings that I felt the first time I heard her song.  Whoaaahhhh!!!
